Bobby Whyte - Owner / Head Trainer
Bobby Whyte is an Athletic Performance and Basketball Skill Enhancement Trainer operating out of Northern New Jersey. He is the owner of HyPower Performance where he trains many of the top players in the country.
His focus is on developing the complete basketball athlete. His personal journey, beginning with a 12” vertical jump at age 15, to playing and coaching basketball internationally, provide him the understanding and confidence he needs to tailor programs which maximize individual development.
Bobby carries several certifications that focus on mobility including both Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) and Functional Movement Systems (FMS). He’s worked with athletes ranging from beginner to NBA/NFL/Overseas Professionals. In 2016 Bobby spent 6 months working in China as the Head Strength Coach for the Guangxi Rhinos. More recently he has traveled to Israel where he directed basketball camps. He has also been the strength and conditioning coach for Hudson Catholic for the past three basketball seasons. Bobby has the ability and knowledge to develop skill and performance programs to deliver complete, healthy athletes. He believes growth takes place at the edge of ability and it his passion to bring athletes to that edge.
Ross GreenField- Skills Trainer
Ross was born and raised in Long Island, NY where he played high school basketball and went on to play 4 years of Division II college basketball at St. Thomas Aquinas College. After his playing career, Ross attended New York Medical College and graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He completed over 75% of his clinical rotation hours in Outpatient Sports Physical Therapy practices. He did this to have the knowledge to help basketball players rehab from injury, achieve pain free movement, and help improve sports performance through movement and physical training. Ross has experience coaching and training high school girls basketball as well as experience with AAU teams.
Ross’ main goal is to show young basketball players that through accountability in improving their game physically, skillfully, mentally, and conceptually, any player can meaningfully chase their aspirations and have a more enjoyable basketball development process.
Alex Esposito - Strength Trainer
Alex is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer from Denville, NJ. He has an extensive background in strength, conditioning and speed mechanics and has trained athletes varying from amateur to Division 1. He has been working with HyPower Performance since 2019, whose main focus is developing a complete basketball athlete - while also meeting and maintaining the strength and power outputs that all sports demand.
Alex is currently working towards his certification in Functional Range Conditioning (FRC). He believes that testing physical limits through consistent exercise carves a clear path to self mastery and truly quieting the mind. Alex ensures the efficient practice of several training models - and albeit difficult, he will meet you exactly where you are with a smile and clear direction.
